T-BART accepts new members throughout the year.
If you are interested in becoming a part of an organization providing a valuable service to boaters on Tellico Lake, please complete the application below. You can join as a captain or as crew but our recommendation based on experience is that all new members join as crew which allows you to become familiar with T-BART procedures as well as Tellico Lake. If are interested in becoming a Captain after serving as crew you can opt to complete the additional captain training.

All new members need to complete T-BART training (both classroom and on-water) as well as an approved boating safety class before they sign up for duty days. T-BART provides monthly training sessions between April and September each year. New members will be assigned a mentor (an experienced T-BART member) who will be available to help and guide you through your training and first year in T-BART.
