T-BART shall serve it’s community by assisting and educating Tellico Lake boaters and by assisting/supporting emergency service organizations as requested.

The key activities which allow T-BART to deliver on its mission:
- Responding to requests for non-medical and non-emergency assistance received from boaters on Tellico Lake and its tributaries
- Educating the general boating public about Tellico Lake and safe boating while on Tellico Lake
- Assisting emergency service organizations upon request
- Training and equipping our members to safely respond appropriately to assistance requests from Tellico Lake boaters and emergency service organizations
- Undertaking projects and activities which will contribute to a high level of boating safety on Tellico Lake and/or provide a valuable community service
- Conducting appropriate fundraising to provide for the on-going operation of T-Bart
