All new members need to complete T-BART training (both classroom and on-water) as well as an approved boating safety class before they can sign up for duty days.  T-BART provides monthly training sessions between April and September each year.

If you are joining T-BART as a Captain you will be assigned a mentor (an experienced T-BART Captain) who will be available to help and guide you through your training and first year in T-BART.
